In his second letter to the churches, the Apostle Peter writes concerning the call and election of every Christian because they are "partakers of the divine nature". It is a deeply inspiring instruction on the nature of grace and our call to cooperate with it. He warns the early believers of the continued action of false prophets who were already in the churches, gives clear instructions on how to recognize them and warns of their punishment. He ends his second letter pointing the early Christians to the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.
