Our PDF resources are free to use for personal study, parish or church handouts, and school handouts. The guidelines below explain how these materials may be shared while protecting the work that keeps them available to everyone.

PERMITTED USES

Personal Use

Download, save, and print resources for your own prayer, study, and faith formation.

Parish or Church Handouts

Print and distribute resources as free handouts for parish programs, ministries, classes, and events.

School Handouts

Print and distribute resources as free handouts for classroom instruction and religious education.

SHARING GUIDELINES

  • Distribute printed copies free of charge within the permitted settings above.
  • Keep all Catholic Online Learning Resources branding, credits, and copyright notices intact.
  • When sharing online, link to the resource page on Catholic Online Learning Resources instead of uploading or hosting the PDF elsewhere.

WRITTEN PERMISSION REQUIRED

Written permission is required before selling a resource, including it in a paid product or service, removing its branding, altering or rebranding it, uploading the PDF to another website or digital library, or using it for another commercial purpose.

Copyright remains with Catholic Online Learning Resources and/or the respective content owner. Permission to print and share these PDFs does not transfer ownership.
