The next letter, or epistle, in the New Testament Canon, following Philemon, is the Letter to the Hebrews. It was widely accepted as a letter written by St Paul for centuries by many early Church fathers. But some, then and now, believe it was written by one of his disciples and students. It is written to a Jewish Christian community.
